In 2012 Coyote was stung by a scorpion after being hired to star in Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1.
In 2013, Shaolin Pictures is producing the action/comedy Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1 starring The Hippy Coyote.

How Much is That Movie in the Window...?

Scott won't let me print it, but I'm certain we can make the KUNG FU COWBOY ROCK & ROLL MOVIE 1 for $____ million.

I made some undersights... I made some oversights... I have imagined almost every pencil in our production office.

That brings ups the exciting question: Where will I build/establish the next SHAOLIN PICTURES production office. I'm holding back from shopping for office spaces and rentals... because I may consider being ON THE LOT. I used to work at Paramount Pictures in a few offices there. It was like being in school. Lots of other teachers and students around. New York style but I need to shmooze and network. Being in the movie business is largely being in the people business. It takes a lot of people to make one movie.

Now I am motivated to upgrade and improve the Shaolin Pictures website.

Kung Fu Cowboy Production Manager

I did really good at budgeting this movie... BUT, I forgot about payroll taxes!

Wow! What a difference an additional 35% can make. Sheesh.

I also had to add more for insurance and hire another DOZEN DRIVERS.

I've learned a lot about the Teamster's Union and their policies. I used to be a Teamster. Yep. Back in the 1970s I worked at a grocery warehouse for Alfred M. Lewis. I drove forklifts loading and unloading box cars of groceries and paper towels...

An interesting thing I learned was that the Teamster drivers have to show up one hour before everyone else to put the trucks in position, plug in the trailers... then they spend another hour after everyone else goes home to turn everything off and park the trucks. So if everyone else is working a 10-hour day, the Teamsters are working a 12-hour day.

They taught me about meal penalties, seniority, class 1...

Psychedelic Gangster Whacker

Scott played me the Monkee's movie, HEAD. It wasn't such a great movie, but I REALLY ENJOYED the pyschedelic music videos. They really made the movie for me. When I realized that these reversed psychedelic colored special effects are what he is planning for the violent battle... it made me feel better.

This Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1 will be the coolest looking gangster killer movie in the world. You'll see.

I miss my acoustic, but I'd love to play solo with my Fender Stratocaster. Unfortunately, I blew it up on New Year's Eve. I really did. I was having a great time performing in Pacific Beach... and it blew up.

Sadly, I can't afford to fix it... so I'm ampless.

I'm still playing my Strat. My guitar style is evolving away from my acoustic guitar tendencies. Because I'm playing it acoustic, (which is low low volume), I am really becoming an electric guitar player. It's much different than playing acoustic guitar.

Buddha Kung Fu in Kung Fu Cowboy Movie

I was planning on making all the choreography using the 12 Tantui. My newest concept is to use all 18 Classical Chinese weapons in the movie. Since it is a dream sequence: I would dream my battle like this...

Plus, it is a complete mystery to Americans what Kung Fu weapons are. The first question I am ALWAYS asked when I say there will be Kung Fu weapons is, "Oh cool. You'll be using nunchuks.!"

NO I WON'T!!!!!!!!

No nunchuks. If I do, it will be to make a parody of Bruce Lee, but I have no intention to do so in this movie. The Chinese weapon similar to the nunchuks is the 3-sectional staff. Manly nunchuks.

Buddha Tai Chi Tested in Las Vegas

More the other way around: Buddha Zhen was testing the Yang Tai Chi, Qigong, and Chen Tai Chi classes of his Kung Fu Brother and other Las Vegas schools.

"Without any of my own programs in Las Vegas," explains Buddha Zhen, "I immersed myself into the Lion Dance classes, the Dragon Dance classes, Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes of other masters. That was really fun!"

We don't want to say anything specific about the other schools or classes Buddha Zhen attended -- but we did discover that our classes and programs were better organized and more efficient than we'd realized. Although Buddha Zhen was expecting to discover ways to improve our Shaolin Chi Mantis, Buddha Kung Fu and Tai Chi Youth programs -- it was immediately obvious that the 20 years that Buddha Zhen has been teaching full-time has created the best curriculums and best organized programs we have yet to find anywhere.

We are anxious to offer these programs to our cast and crew of Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1.

Man in Black

Living out of my car I've got a small amount of space for clothing. Since I work as a stagehand for Rhino Staging, and we are required to wear black... I wear black... I have ALL black clothing in my truck shell.

Kmart had a clearance sale under a tent near director Scott's house. Each day I drove to Scott's I peruse the racks and find $15 shirts for $4. I stocked up and have plenty of black shirts and a few pairs of black pants. That's my wardrobe this year. Fortunately I look good in black -- but I'm getting anxious for a change of wardrobe.

I told friends that they'd know when our movie was fully funded when I stopped wearing black. Since I usually wear a black cowboy hat, I occassionally hear someone refer to me as Johnny Cash. During the hippie days, I heard that Johnny wore black because of his protesting the Vietnam war. Don't quote me on that because it seemed to me he kept wearing black after the Vietnam wore ended.

I may still wear black, but I'm anxious to wear white, brown, stripes...

I have a suitcase in my storage unit that is full of all my Coyote clothes: leather shirts, white...
