I finished this book on my 55th birthday, February 4, 2009.

It's my roadmap for my new album, LEVEL 4 = Kung Fu Cowboy.

Previously, I used a "war board" with bubbles and boxes and arrows...

This book was handwritten, with several revisions and outlines of my LEVEL 4 albums and songs changing... then Coyote became a Master Mason in 2009. During his intensive daily studies to pass this "3rd Degree Proficiency" Coyote discovered the "Masonic Kung Fu" he'd inherited from his Shaolin Kung Fu Master in San Francisco, Grandmaster Wong Jack Man (famous for the Bruce Lee fight).

With his life focused around Freemasonry, serving as the "Organist of the Lodge" for Panamericana 513, and the next year as Assistant Secretary, our Buddhist pup became engrossed with the life and circumstances of Hiram Abif. Hiram was murdered as King Solomon's Temple was being completed. Coyote realized that by changing the order of a few songs... this album became the story of Hiram Abif, instead of about himself.

This new change of storyline required an entirely new book to tell the story... and THIS BOOK, Kung Fu Cowboy Original Draft, was left in its handwritten state. Realizing there was interesting information and a lot of cool poetry within the book, Coyote decided to rewrite a few poems to make them more legible and published the book in this rough draft.

The pages have been antiqued digitally to look like the Dead Sea Scrolls. "They look like someone peed on them." That didn't happen.
