"It's Your Shadow" Available at shaolinRECORDS.com

The rough mixes for the soundtrack album Coyote In A Graveyard were completed in 1990 at Soundcastle Studios. Then Coyote moved to Utah.

Only this "cassingle" (cassette single) was released in 1989. This single rose quickly in the U.S. college radio charts as the Coyote Graveyard band was performing the Los Angeles night clubs.

In a unique ground-breaking format, the cassette consisted of two songs on one side and two songs on the other. SIDE-A was the hit single, "It's Your Shadow," and the rock opera theme song, "Coyote In A Graveyard." However, SIDE-B contained instrumental versions of the same two songs, "It's Your Shadow," and "Coyote In A Graveyard."

Radioplay statistics and listener requests resulted in the two hottest versions being the instrumental version of "It's Your Shadow," and the vocal version of "Coyote In A Graveyard."

Shaolin Records has a couple dozen of these original cassingle cassettes, still shrink-wrapped and kept in storage since 1989. We've priced them very high as collector's items. The pressing plant, Alshire Records, also the pressing plant of the LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 albums by American Zen, has closed its doors. Since there is no demand for cassette tapes anymore--no more will be manufactured.
