Tujunga, California – August 10, 2006 – American Zen, America's first Buddhist rock band, released their first album in 2005, Level 1 = Peace Of Mind.

Producer #2 blew up. He's been building this new studio in Burbank and we went in to use it and...it blew up.

I had a lot of fun playing the old guitars there. The owners are some rich kids and they've got a cool collection of old amps and guitars.

So Coyote Radio Tujunga is circling the runway waiting for a chance to land...

What is it about this album that prevents its' completlon? Currently, I envision it as somewhere between The Kinks, Donovan, and Crosby Stills and Nash, and Neil Young. Yeah. Those sounds. A brown sepia tone acoustic guitar that sounds clear yet from the past. A melody and vocal that always have a special message that you know.

Folk rock, American Zen style.
