Album reviews of American Zen's first album, Level 1 = Peace Of Mind,
are referring to the music as, "inspiring," "enlightening," "thought provoking," and "spiritual."
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tujunga, California – March 10, 2006 – American Zen, America's first Buddhist rock band, released their first album in 2005, Level 1 = Peace Of Mind. Currently Coyote is at ATM Studios in Burbank "sweetening" the Coyote Radio Tujunga album being produced by Richard Connor, to be released by Shaolin Records.
Our new direction of adding tracks to the "live" album, Coyote Radio Tujunga, has now resulted in "Don't Push Me" jumping off the record with a surprising flair. Mostly, this surprises me because the song is so negative and hostile. The song also has a strange Irish bounce to it with the stomp of gargoyle on "Black Of Night."
Now, we're facing a decision. Do we have to beef up and add overdubs to the entire album? Half the album?
