The Press Room is the Left Menu Bar
As journalists and editors travel the webpages of the Shaolin Records Press Room, they will have access to the various EPK links per project or artist. The left menu bar contains links to the press releases and newsletters associated with each artist or project.

When the left menu bar disappears on some webpages of the press room there should always be the main links in the yellow menu bar below the header of each press room page. These orange menu bar links above the headlines include:

EPK index
Album EPKs
Book EPKs
Movie EPKs

Website EPKs

From these six EPKs, the proper EPK being sought should be found.

Some EPKs are several EPKs. The "Album EPK" for the End of the Line album by American Zen is the main EPK with links to the other three EPKs for the End of the Line album: Graphics EPK, One-Sheet EPK, and Songlist EPK. All four of these combined EPKs create the complete EPK for the End of the Line album. Each project varies whether there are enough graphics to require a separate graphics EPK or whether the project contains any songs to create a Songlist EPK.

The One-Sheet EPKs are patterned after the traditional record company EPKs of the 1980s. Sales, distribution, and promotion information are supplied to distributors to encourage more sales and cooperation during promotions, tours, or events.

The Songlist EPKs are used to break down the information about the creation or performance of the songs on the record. Poems in books also use this Songlist EPK per book to provide background information or illumination about the poems.

Graphics EPKs are scrapbooks with high resolution photos, music samples, or promotional art provided for newspapers, magazines, and feature writers needing these items for printing.

The information within the EPKs will be expanding as we upload more images, documents, and print masters. As journalists request resources we will add them into the EPKs for your convenient access.

Webmaster Richard Del Connor redesigned the press room templates to have the blue sky with Chinese clouds. He kept the bamboo background for the remainder of the website explaining, "The press and publicity are in the sky. Like our audience, the bamboo is on the ground."
