American Zen's fourth album, LEVEL 4 = Kung Fu Cowboy PART 1: King Solomon's Temple,
has become the Freemason story about Hiram Abiff, who was murdered in King Solomon's Temple.
LEVEL 4 = Kung Fu Cowboy PART 2: 3rd Degree Master Mason
was the story of One-Man-Band Coyote becoming a Master Mason, but now takes place in China, a century ago.
KUNG FU COWBOY will probably end up being a 4-album series.

Coyote's Grief Over Cutting Off His Hair Leads to Baldness
In financial despair, The Hippy Coyote cut off his hair for a Pinkerton security guard job on a Brinks armored truck. Unable to create a short haircut that he liked, after several attempts, Coyote shaved it all off. Now he's bald again.
The last time Coyote shaved his head was in 2005, when HBO Pictures cast him as a Buddhist Monk in a "reality TV show." Coyote got several callbacks and eventually shot a pilot episode. Then HBO recast Coyote's role as a "satanist" instead of a Buddhist Monk. The satanist dude didn't work out and the show was cancelled. Darkness didn't prevail?
This time however, Coyote's baldness was a last resort. Some of Coyote's websites detailed Coyote's frustrations and homelessness during this period with weekly updates.
Somehow, the bald look ended up being the correct haircut for Coyote. Friends, fans, and family all like his Buddha-look. Women in supermarkets and public places find him more approachable in his new spiritual chrome dome.
This Buddha look is also right in time for our shaolinINTERACTIVE videos we are producing. "I'd like to say i did it intentionally," sighs our Buddha Doggie. "Somehow it worked it out good. My Japanese mail man commented the other day, "You look like Kung Fu Master now."
Coyote's not completely pleased with the look for his rock'n'roll life though. Coyote's only gig since farewelling his follicles was with his cowboy hat and Kung Fu Jacket. He was/is the Kung Fu Cowboy. A video of this concert has been posted at American Zen's YouTube.com webpage. As usual, Coyote breaks a guitar string during the song. He fights with the dangling string while singing, "In Dreams," from the LEVEL 3 = I Want You To Love Me album by American Zen.
Coyote's new search for a new bald identity resulted in a new website: www.HippieBuddha.com
Somehow this website gave Coyote some consolation and balance. "My hair is fundamental to my being a hippie," states The Hippy Coyote. "I had to fight to have it in the 1960s. I lost jobs for wearing it during the 1970s. My hair was more than a look. My hair was a spiritual statement. Then I realized no one else appreciated my hair for the same reasons that I did. Long hair is no longer a statement of politics or identity. Today, long hair is just another style you can see in places that wouldn't give me a job 30 years ago."
Coyote's last gig was booked before he'd cut his hair off. Not one to ever miss a gig or cancel, Coyote performed this as his "last concert of The Hippy Coyote." Coyote claims he will not perform with American Zen again--until he grows his hair again. Many fans protested this statement on his www.HippyCoyote.com website. But Coyote also said his reasoning was to not perform again until he can afford to have roadies. "I haven't performed without at least one roadie since 1978," firmly states our Hippie pooch. "When I can afford roadies, I'll probably also have my hair back."
