LEVEL 3 = I Want You To Love Me is American Zen's third album on Shaolin Records
     and their 3rd Level of Shaolin Zen Buddhism.

Montrose, California – August 23, 2008 – American Zen, America's first Buddhist rock band, released in June 2007, their follow-up album to Level 1 = Peace Of Mind. Both albums were released by Shaolin Records and produced by Richard Connor.

1980 become Richard O’Connor
2008 reborn Richard Connor

I became more Irish in 1980 and felt a strength in my heritage identity. It didn’t pay off outside my own imagination and confidence. In the 2000s I discovered that there isn’t an apostrophe on the internet. So my name couldn’t exist as O’Connor. But I perservered until 2007 when I became a Freemason and had to use my legal name of Richard Del Connor.

It took a couple years to remove the apostrophes from my names.

Another reason I appreciated being O’Connor instead of Del Connor, is because “Del” is my middle name and often I would end up with my name filed under the “D”s instead of the “C”s.

Of course people still misspelt my name with an “e r” at the end instead of “or.”

So, there are going to be a lot of places that will list me as “O’Connor.”

It’s part of my history.
