THE HIPPY COYOTE:
The Hippy Coyote was born Richard Del Connor in San Diego, California. He began fronting rock bands as singer-guitarist in 1967. Coyote fronted bands on bass, and flute before creating American Zen band in 1992 in which he pretends to be all four band members, performing all the instruments and vocals. Kung Fu Cowboy Rock & Roll Movie 1 has been written about Coyote's Shaolin Kung Fu lifestyle.
Kung Fu Cowboy album cover photo of End of the Line album by American Zen was shot on the last day of the album overdubs at Scott's house. Coyote laid down his final guitar tracks with his Fender Stratocaster and Marshall Amp shortly after taking these train track photos in Van Nuys, California.

LETTER TO FEATURE EDITORS JULY 2014:
END OF THE LINE music album by American Zen tells the musical autobiographical story of The Hippy Coyote from the time he divorced his family in 2011 to the end of 2013. Coyote recorded this album in his truck where he's been living the past couple years. This is Coyote's first album without an acoustic guitar and it sounds powerful as he takes on the musical alter-egoes of his American Zen bandmates.
END OF THE LINE music album by American Zen is the first album of American Zen without any acoustic guitar. 11 songs tell the story of The Hippy Coyote, known currently as "Kung Fu Cowboy." Songs depict homeless life and his upcoming movie, KUNG FU COWBOY ROCK & ROLL MOVIE 1, starring Coyote with 21 songs of his in the soundtrack.
Richard Del Connor, The Hippy Coyote, now known as KUNG FU COWBOY was a Canadian immigrant from 1970 to 1972 in St. John's, Newfoundland. He was exiled for legal reasons...

About The Rich
The Rich were formed in 1978 as Richard Del Connor left San Diego with Dann Linck to become one of the first punk rock bands of Los Angeles. The Rich recorded in many of the best L.A. studios with amazing recording engineers until becoming the Coyote in a Graveyard rock opera in 1984 which altered Richard's name to "The Coyote." During the late 1980s the set list included songs from the original 1979 band and the Coyote in a Graveyard soundtrack album. This band was billed as "Coyote Graveyard." In 1992 Richard Del Connor became American Zen, and in 2007 became "The Hippy Coyote," and "Buddha Zhen." While working as a stagehand in Las Vegas, Richard became known as "Kung Fu Cowboy." Jamming on flute with his Vegas reggae musician friends, they named him, "THC The Hippy Coyote."
